So Much for *that* New Year's Resolution....

I try not to make New Year's resolutions, simply because I am lazy, and it seems too much like setting myself up for certain failure. But, against my better judgement, I actually (privately) made some resolutions that I was going to try my hardest to make come to fruition.

Number one was: Try to get more exercise.

Two was: Try to eat healthier.

Three was: Weed out 99/100's of the cursing in my vocabulary.

It comes as no surprise to anyone who knows me fairly well that number three has already bit the el big-o wiener-o. The reason for polluting my airspace with harsh invective? Scads and scads of the Secret Santa bunch have not only *gotten* their gifts, but got to open them as well! I'm still gift-less. (Mumble, grumble....@#$#%#......)

I guess I'll have to go and break resolution number two and eat some chocolate to console myself....

That is a resolution that I could not possibly keep. I think you are correct in thinking that we were separated at birth.

Sorry that your gift has not arrived yet.

Secret Santa -- there was a message when I got home today that I can go pick up my package at the post office! YAY! I plan to go on my lunch hour tomorrow to go and get it! I'm so excited that I can barely wait!

I'm quite sure that you mailed it in plenty of time, but living here in the boondocks means that it takes everything a jillion years to get here. The post office here is severely messed up. I once had a letter that I was mailing across TOWN have to go to a central hub in Jacksonville, Florida -- a completely different state from me! Like I said, crazy-messed up.

Thank you1 I can't wait to get my package tomorrow!

I am glad your Secret Santa is making sure you get your gift. May it make you grin.

Not that chocolate is a bad thing. I hope you consume it under happier conditions soon :)

Fo shizzle ;)
