"An Evening in Paris"
At the end of January, our Girl Scout Unit always holds a very nice father-daughter ball. Every year, we, the leaders and mothers, go all out. There's a theme every year, and this year's was "An Evening in Paris." The girls and "escorts" always have a great time. Offspring and JF always attend, and we always have pictures to record the momentous occasion.
Here's their Ball picture, set in front of an Eiffel Tower backdrop. :)
(Thanks to the genius computer whiz JF for helping me get this posted!)

A nice idea. Kid L's troop did mother/daughter and father/daughter activities last year, but nothing this year nor where her troops events so elaborate.
What a group of parents you must have!
So sweet! Those are great memories.
And you can see her tres chic earrings in th epicture, too!
Actually, PPB, those were sticker earrings. She didn't get her real ones until about 2 weeks after the Ball. She, apparently, was in the decision phase here. She had been planning to wear these stick-on ones for a while, and had even laid them out with her dress. (Never mind the fact that her dress was pink and black, and the "earrings" were lime green....)
My child is color blind when it comes to matching clothes. Her father has taught her that pink and red match. Ick.
