Offspring and I have plans tomorrow to head to a small waterpark about 45 minutes from home. She's having a friend go to the park with us, and will be spending the night. I plan to spend the waterpark time lounging by the side of the pool and praying not to burn. Should I wear a Haz-Mat suit?
I will try to remember to take some pictures. I don't promise anything, though.
At least if I do burn, tomorrow's Wednesday and I can come home and whine about it over at the lovely Phantom's!

Definitely a haz-mat suit. Or at least bring your own shade.
When we visit Mexico, we wear long-sleeved lightweight cotton shirts (seersucker is good, because I just read only 30% actually touches your skin while the rest wicks moisture away and allows air circulation). Add a wide-brimmed hat and long, lightweight pants, and maybe a rebozo, and you might be a little hot but at least you're protected from the sun.
Or you could just take a big umbrella. :)
I hope you have fun. I sincerely hope that you do not burn. I don't think your body could handle another burn so soon.
GIRLFRIEND! Waterbabies makes 60+ spf sunblock! GET SOME! If it keeps my ridiculously white-to-the-point-of-being-see-through skin from burning, you certainly stand a chance of withstanding the sun. Egads.
Let us know how you make out....
